More than 15 years ago, I set foot on the field, not as a player, but as a volunteer youth baseball coach. I wasn't trying to be special, or different. I wanted to do something I loved and was good at. If only it was that easy...

 

Being a female youth baseball coach has been challenging, but one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Unfortunately, I have only met a handful of women in my position, and so the experience is often isolating. I started You Can Call Me Coach to provide space for coaches to connect and support each other off the field, so we can be stronger on the field.
